E-Bus Charging

E-Buses charge using Level 2 charging (or AC charging) or Level 3 charging (DC Fast Charging).

NV Energy E-Bus Incentive

This program provides incentives up to 75 percent of total costs to assist school districts in NV Energy’s service area to replace diesel engine school buses for an all battery electric version, and to install related charging infrastructure.

EPA Clean School Bus Rebate

The 2022 Clean School Bus (CSB) Rebates are accepting online applications from May 20, 2022, through August 19, 2022. Applications can request funds for replacing up to 25 buses. For the 2022 CSB Rebates, EPA anticipates offering $250 million for clean school buses and $250 million for zero-emission school buses. Applications can be submitted here.

The Nevada Governor’s Office of Energy (NGOE) partners with NV Energy to expand EV travel opportunities statewide by placing EV charging stations at cost-effective and strategic locations along Nevada's five major highway corridors (I-15, I-80, US 95, US 93 and US 50). Learn more.
